The year has just turned, and you have a thousand projects in mind, with the children, work, health surprises... it's not always easy to find the balance to keep calm and focused. Here are 5 tips from our team to maintain inner peace, one small gesture at a time! Do not underestimate the importance of taking breaks during the day! Stretch, take a deep breath, make your favorite hot drink, or take a short walk. Resist the temptation to check your emails or scroll through your phone, the goal is to rest the brain. Exercise every day, or almost every day! Choose what suits you, what you like, or what a healthcare professional has recommended. Feel free to alternate your choices of activities to vary and allow your body to recover from more demanding exercises. If you lack equipment to practice yoga at home, know that we have the essentials; mats, blocks, bolsters, straps... Create space and time for relaxing activities in your home, away from the television and the hustle and bustle of your family's daily activities. You can create an inviting space for meditation, painting, reading... Even if you only spend 15 minutes a day there, it will do you good. Psst! This meditation set has just arrived in our online shop! Keeping a personal journal is liberating, even therapeutic. It allows you to ventilate and shed light on the emotions you are experiencing. It is easier to recognize our needs and be attentive to our intuitions. If you lack inspiration, try the technique of writing down these 3 things every day: your pride of the day, your regret of the day, and your goal for tomorrow. Need a notebook? I recommend those from Mimosa Design, they are designed in Quebec and so beautiful! Start the new year by creating a vision board. A vision board is a collage of images, phrases, and affirmations of your dreams and desires, designed to serve as a source of inspiration and motivation. Some do it on a large cardboard, others directly on the wall or on a bulletin board... the possibilities are endless. Personally, I have been doing it for several years, and it helps me refocus on my goals and dreams, bringing me a sense of peace, fulfillment, and control over my life. If this process is unfamiliar to you, I recommend reading this article: https://www.laplanificatrice.com/post/facons-de-faire-un-tableau-de-visualisation-vision-board   The list of our tips could go on indefinitely (taking a candlelit bath, regularly seeing friends, allowing yourself rest breaks...). The important thing is to find what brings you the most joy, within your financial means, and incorporate it into your schedule. Taking care of your inner peace is the best way to prevent health problems and burnout. Make it your priority!         Marie-Jeanne Gauthier Co-Founder and designer Amma Therapie
