Stuffing :
The cushion are filled with buckwheat hulls from Quebec. In view of sustainable development, this has the advantage of being recycled, renewable, durable and compostable. In addition, buckwheat hulls are hypoallergenic, anti-mite and anti-bacterial.
After a few months of use, the volume of the new cushion is reduced by 5 to 10%. We can at this time add shells to restore the volume of the cushion. After a few years, it is a good idea to replace the shells with newer ones.
Maintenance:
Avoid placing the cushions on a dirty or dusty surface. To wash the cushions, remove the lining and handwash the cover with cold soapy water. Let the cover air dry and take this opportunity to air out the buckwheat hulls in the sun on a large cloth.
