Stuffing:
The cushion is filled with buckwheat hulls from Quebec. In view of sustainable development, this stuffing has the advantage of being recycled, renewable, durable and compostable. In addition, buckwheat hulls are hypoallergenic, anti-mite and anti-bacterial.
After a few months of use, the volume of the new cushion is reduced by 5 to 10%. We can at this time add shells to restore the volume of the cushion. After a few years, it is a good idea to replace the shells with newer ones.
Maintenance:
The cushion is not washable in water. It must be protected from dust and stored on a clean surface. You may gently scrub the surface with a damp cloth to clean or remove stains.
