The Amma Therapie long wrap compress is very versatile. It is the compress in our collection that is most suitable for pregnant women. With its 6 sections that hold the grains in place, the compress is long enough to wrap across the entire lower back or stomach. The long wrap helps relieve back pain and contractions, and can also relieve congestion caused by rising milk, thereby facilitating breastfeeding.

Washable cover :

The washable cover is available as an additional option for some of our products. Made with the same fabric as our cushions, the cover provides extra protection against stains. It fits your cushion snugly while being easy to remove when the cover requires a wash. The cover is very practical if you use our cushions for your feet or if the cushion is shared by different people. The cover is essential for cushions used in a clinical setting.

 

Storage pouch :

The storage pouch helps keep your cushions fresh and free of dust when they are not in use. Made from smooth and eco-friendly fabric, the storage pouch pairs with all our fabrics with ease and simplicity. Its cotton cord allows you to close the pouch and hang it up. It can be part of your decor and can even serve to store other objects. It is also very practical when you travel with your favorite cushion.

 

Instructions for use:

Warm therapy releases muscle tension, promotes vascularization, relieves stomach pain, aids relaxation and facilitates breastfeeding.

Microwave: Place the compress on a paper towel in a microwave oven. Heat the compress for about 1 to 1.5 minutes depending on the intensity of the oven.

Conventional oven: Preheat your oven to 175°F and place the compress on a cooking plate covered with parchment paper. Heat the compress for 15 to 20 minutes max. Do not use in a gas oven.

WARNING! Handle the heated compress with caution to avoid burns. Manipulate the compress and move its grains around to distribute the heat evenly. Always check the temperature of the compress before use by placing it on the inside of your wrist. If you want to reheat the compress again while it is still warm, set a shorter heating time. Never leave a child under 3 years of age unattended with a compress.

Cold therapy relieves inflammation, bruising, pain and migraines.

Store the compress in a sealed plastic bag in the freezer so that it is ready to be used cold.

 

Care instructions:

The compress is not washable in water. It must be protected from dust and stored on a clean surface. You may gently scrub the surface with a damp cloth to clean or remove stains.
