Filling Materials
The pillow is filled with Quebec-grown buckwheat hulls. From a sustainable development perspective, this natural filling has the advantage of being recycled, renewable, durable, and compostable. Buckwheat hulls are also hypoallergenic, dust mite resistant, and antibacterial.
After a few months of use, the pillow may lose about 5–10% of its volume. At that point, buckwheat hulls can be added to restore the pillow’s fullness. After a few years, it is recommended to replace the hulls with fresh ones.
Care Instructions
Avoid placing the pillow on dirty or dusty surfaces. To wash the cover, remove it and wash gently in cool soapy water. Air dry the cover, and take the opportunity to let the pillow itself air out in the sun.
