Instructions for use:
For relaxation and meditation, use at room temperature.
Cold therapy relieves migraines and headaches, and soothes tired or puffy eyes. Store the mask in a sealed plastic bag in the freezer so that it is ready to be used cold.
Warm therapy relieves dry eye, helps clear the airways during sinusitis and promotes relaxation. Microwave: Place the mask on a paper towel in a microwave oven. Heat the mask for about 20 seconds depending on the intensity of the oven. Conventional oven: Preheat your oven to 175°F and place the mask on a cooking plate covered with parchment paper. Heat the mask for 10 minutes max. Do not use in a gas oven. WARNING! Handle the heated compress with caution to avoid burns. Manipulate the compress and move its grains around to distribute the heat evenly. Always check the temperature of the compress before use by placing it on the inside of your wrist. If you want to reheat the compress again while it is still warm, set a shorter heating time. Never leave a child under 3 years of age unattended with a mask. Do not leave a warm mask on the eyes for more than 5 minutes.
Care instructions:
The compress is not washable in water. It must be protected from dust and stored on a clean surface. You may gently scrub the surface with a damp cloth to clean or remove stains. Avoid using the mask if you have makeup on your face or after applying a moisturizer.
FAQ :
Can I keep my mask on all night?
If you have tried your mask for a few minutes and no adverse effects have occurred (allergy, blurred vision, etc.) you can wear it without moderation!
How do I wash my mask?
The mask is not washable in water. It must be protected from dust and placed on a clean surface. You can scrub the surface of the fabric with a damp cloth or a small brush if a stain occurs.
Is a washable cover available to protect the mask?
No unfortunately, this is not available for this product.
Can I use my mask at all times?
Yes, but to avoid dirtying the fabric, it is best to avoid using the mask on a made-up face or after applying a moisturizer.
Is the elastic band adjustable?
No, but since the elastic is flexible and stretches easily, the size is suitable for most people. If you feel it too tight on your head, stretch the elastic as far as possible with your hands for 1 minute. This will help enlarge the elastic.
My mask hardly smells like lavender anymore, what can I do?
The odor may actually diminish over time, depending on the use and storage of the mask. If the smell is gone, lightly squeeze the grains with your fingers to crumble the lavender flowers inside, the smell will return. You can also add a drop of lavender essential oil to your mask, avoiding direct contact with the eyes of course.
Can I use the therapeutic mask on my patients during a treatment/massage?
As the mask is not washable, and the elastic must be placed behind the head, it is more recommended to use the eye rest with washable cover for treatments and massages.
How long will my mask last?
It depends on what you use it for and how well you take care of it. Normally it could last you for years! Trust its appearance and smell. If everything is normal, it is still usable!
